Stardew Valley Review

Stardew Valley was originally created by a solo developer known as ConcernedApe. The game was released as a single player game but in the past few years it has received several content updates that even add multiplayer to the game. The game is available on several platforms even including the Nintendo switch and mobile devices. For more information on how to purchase please go the the official Stardew Valley website here.

The game itself is very simple that anyone can enjoy whether they have been gaming their entire life, or if this would be their first game ever. The game begins by leaving you on a farm with a few seeds to plant and from that point you can decide how to live your life in this world. If you want to maximize the profit from your farm you can carefully plan out the seasons to make sure you get the most of your farm. However if you want to simply walk around the town, explore, and talk with the NPC’s you are able to do that as well.

Although it is my favorite aspect of the game, farming is not the only activity in this game. The game has a mining system that can lead to many different adventures and findings. You are also able to fish in the game with a fun mini game every time you use your fishing pole in set locations.

My first playthrough was single player, mainly because this was before the multiplayer update was released. However, every other playthrough I have done has been with friends because it creates a fun environment to play in.It is very easy to play online with people, and the only complaint would be that it is maybe too easy once you play with a full party of four. Thankfully they have a setting to make it harder to earn money in game if you would like to.

In the end I would recommend stardew valley to someone who is interested in this video game because it is a very unique experience that everyone should try.
